how to make easy beef matoke
Ingredients
.12 green bananas.
.31/4kg beef
.3 royco cubes
.2 big onions
.3 big tomatoes
.1tps garlic paste
.1/2 tps ginger paste
.15g cooking oil
. salt to taste
Method
. Peel the bananas, wash them and put them in water with a bowl to prevent them from browning.
Note
To prevent the bananas from sticking on your hands when peeling apply some oil on your hands before peeling or use polythene gloves.
.Cut the meat into small cubes
.Cut the onions and fry them until golden brown
. Add meat to the onions and fry them until fully cooked.
.Add the garlic and ginger paste and fry them for a minute stirring them to prevent them from burning
. Blend the tomatoes and add them to the meat and fry them for a minute.
.Add the royco cubes to the meat
.Add the bananas to the meat and stir them in and fry them for a minute stirring them to prevent them from burning.
.Add salt
.Add water to cover the bananas and boil them on medium heat until the bananas are tender.
Serve hot
